Human Resources (HR) Manager

Reports To: Board of Directors

Location: Remote – Travel as Needed

Job Summary:

The HR Manager oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compliance. The HR Manager serves as a key partner in building a strong, supportive, and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s mission and goals.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records, benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Handle employee relations issues and mediate workplace conflicts.
  • Oversee performance management systems, including appraisals and goal tracking.
  • Facilitate training, development, and employee engagement programs.
  • Administer payroll processing and HR software tools.
  • Advise management on organizational policy matters and recommend changes as needed.
  • Support inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
  • HR experience
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Computer Proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking approach to solving problems.
